HIROKO KANEKO

Hiroko KANEKO is a Partner at Matsuo and Kosugi. Admitted to the bar in Japan (1997) and in N.Y. (2006), she has represented both Japanese and international clients across a wide range of legal issues.

In addition to general corporate matters, Kaneko has represented various clients both in Japanese courts and other dispute resolution bodies such as international arbitration institutions.

Her recent focus includes employment matters and dispute resolution such as litigation, injunctions, and proceedings at the labor relations committee on behalf of her corporate clients. These clients operate in a number of different industries including manufacturing, chemical, finance and IT.

Being a member of the Labor Laws Committee of the Daiichi Tokyo Bar Association from 2011, Kaneko has served as vice chairperson to the committee and chairperson of one of its subcommittees since 2019. She is also a member of the Management Lawyers Council.
